Figure out the circumference of the circle:
diameter = radius * 2 so diameter = 16
Circumference = pi * diameter so Circumference = 3.14 * 16 = 50.24
Divide the circumference in half
50.24/2=25.12
Add the diameter (for the long flat edge) if it's enclosed:
25.12 +16 = 41.12

It's equal to half of the circumference, plus the diameter (as you can see by drawing a picture). The circumference is 2*pi*r, and the diameter is 2*r, so the perimeter is (2*pi*r)/2+2r=8*pi+16.

perimeter is the length surrounding the semi-circle.
the radius is 8 . doubling that gets 16 which is the length of the straight side of the semi- circle. to get the length of the circumference of the semi circle we use the formula 2 pi r which yields circumference of whole circle.. we need half so we remove the 2 and are left with pi x r which is 22/7 x 8 = 25.14 . add this length to the straight side length we get 25.14 + 16 = 41.14 . you didnt mention if it was m , cm or inch etc.

perimeter of a circle
=2*pi*r
=2*3.14*8
=50.24 unit
perimeter of a semicircle
=perimeter of a circle/2
=50.24/2
=25.12unit
(if you take the developement of a circle , it will be a straight line, that is equal to the circumference of a circle.)

perimeter of a circle is 2 * pi * r
so perimeter of a semicircle would be pi * r(curved side) +2r(flat side)
so, 8 *pi (where pi = 3.14)
perimeter = 8 * pi + 2*8
= 8 * 5.14
so its perimeter would be 41.12.

circumference of a circle =2pi*r
circumference of a semicircle=pi*r
I assume you are including the st line, which is the diameter of the circle=2r
total=pi*r+2r=r(2+pi)=8(2+pi)=41.1
