Because he has retreated into an internal state of existential and metaphysical despair.
And every time you try to talk to him about conceiving he is puzzling over:
What is the nature of truth? and Am I a brain in a vat? If I am a BIV.... is that as good as being a MILF??
And who can blame him, he was molested by Michael Jackson, Representative Mark Foley, and most notoriously Priya Joshi.
