You should go. You might have a great time and even if you don't, at least you will know it's not your thing. But unless you try it you can't say whether or not you'll like it

Go have a little fun why don't you. Come out of your shell a little bit. It sounds like you have some good friends that will make sure you are comfortable. There is nothing to fear about going to a club even if you are shy.

well if you go to the clubs with your friends then just be you! if your too shy just be a lil lose not in a way out of control but you know talk if some guy wanna dance with you but if you don't like him then send him off by sayin your not interested in a respectful way.. thats all gurl there is nothing to be scared of..nothing will happen and if your friends are taking you they will make sure nothing happens to you! make sure you got a cell phone on you or borrow somebody's ight! have fun

talk to the mirror like it was your friend put out the cutest thing you have. arm your self with a bunch of compliments for your friends and always remember

it works for many people i know to make their shyness gone.
you can aslo buy a book by someone physiarist from the future or go to joga classes to relax and also the karate classes are making you feel like you can beat up anyone ! take your chanbses...after all what do u have to lose

First off, do you want to go? Is clubbing your thing? If it isn't, it's OK to say "No, but thanks!"
Secondly, what activities to you feel comfortable doing with other people? Do more of them to get comfortable being around others, and see what happens.

if not comfortable in that environment - state your case
find something you all will enjoy doing and yet enjoying the company of others
people who club just know everyone else will enjoy it as much s they do.....
will not know until you try it at least once....
if nothing else, take own transportation so can leave when ready

sounds like your friends are trying to help you a little...let them. One thing you have going for you is that your female: that means you can dance with anyone and you don't even have to know how to dance. Don't dress to conservative and don't dress like a skank.
