It seems not only is she a poor man's Jodie Foster, but she seems like she is ALWAYS ANGRY. No matter what role she plays, she appears to be continually pissed off. Am I wrong in this?

Yeah, they do seem to portray her as a "woman with issues" in all of her roles. Wonder if that's close to her real personality or is she just getting stuck with the negative roles nobody else will play?

I like Helen Hunt. She is a great actress. Btw, I am not poor and not a man. Jodie Foster is overrated if you ask me.

yep, ur wrong. she wasn't pissed off in girls just want to have fun...i think she likes serious roles though. she's a great actress and i think she's way prettier than her former co0star sarah jessica parker. and why the heck do u say she's a poor mans jodie foster??? jodie is a no mans jodie foster herself!!

I like her and no I do not think she always looks angry. Ever watched an episode of "Mad About You"?
I'll agree though she is no match to Jodie Foster.

No your not completely wrong I think she has just been type cast in those roles however I don't think that's all she could play in I just think those are the roles she gets.

I personally think she is a really good actress, she's really good in the movie "Pay it Forward" and she's great in Mad about you...
