I live in Taiwan and so I can tell you:
1. Asian countries (China included) do have McDonald's.
2. There are many Asian countries (not just Korea as one person falsely stated) that eat dog (China and Taiwan definitely do) HOWEVER it is highly looked down upon and people do not admit to doing it generally (it's not considered a "delicacy here", as it is in some countries, it is more of a necessity, or just people being incredibly cheap).
No McKitty meals either, because Hello Kitty! is so HUGELY profitable, they wouldn't want the kiddies getting all upset thinking they are eating Hello Kitty!! (Did you know she doesn't have a mouth because "she is such a good friend you can tell her your secrets and she'll never repeat them"?
3. What makes you think ANY McDonald's make their patties out of cows? Didn't you know that they named the company that prepares the patties "100% Beef"? The pattie itself isn't 100% beef, but they are able to stamp that logo on the packages because it's the company name. Pretty clever eh? I think the patties are actually made of meal-worm or something...

McDonald's chain exists both in China and India. In India, since a lot of people are vegetarian, they make patties out of potatoes and peas etc. In meat, they use lamb instead of beef, as a lot of Hindus (and not all Indians) consider the cow to be sacred. In China they use exactly what they use in the US. And no, they don't have McKitty and McDoggy in China, just as they don't have McIraqi and McBinLaden in the US.

Here are a couple of sites that I found, India is in English and China is in Chinese. You can get an idea of what it is about.

China uses beef, india does not use beef or pork in this mcdonalds. There are too many religions to say that cows are not eaten in india. Muslims eat them as do Buhddists. Then Muslims do not eat pork. They all eat chicken. India has a vegetarian menu as well, check it out it is really interesting.
