actually yes, seems to run much smoother on a MAC!

No, not true. It used to be true but I'm afraid the myth still exists. I have used Photoshop on a PC to publish national magazines and edit video (sometimes on opposing screens at the same time). A good PC can work faster than you can. I mean really, for those of us reading the news... Mac is buying their chips from Intel these days. So, same chip... same program... no, Mac is not faster than a PC anymore. Oh, and by the way, yes I have used a Mac.

if you work with very big files, like for printing, Mac opens them much faster. If you are a web designer, it doesn't matter if you have a mac or a pc, but in publishing they all use Macs.

Yes that is true. However anything else ( well most anything ) is better on PC!
