My stomach keeps knotting up in a small ball (not painfull) about 1-2 inches below my beyy button. When I lay flat on my back I can feel it to. Is this where my baby is at the time? I'm almost 17 weeks (on sat) I know they say the baby is low but if it is the baby would thay be carrying it high? Have an appt on Tuesday.

I am 26 weeks pregnant and I have been able to feel my little one from time to time kick me or do a flip or something (pretty strong for that young) since about 15 weeks or so. I can surely feel the difference in the strength of the kicks now but I wouldn't worry about it. Talk to your doctor on Tuesday and Im sure that he will asure you that everything is fine with your baby!! From about week 9 I was told that I had a very active baby and that she moved alot- they usually chase her around my tummy looking for a strong heartbeat. She loves to play tag already and she isn't even born yet!! Good luck!

I felt my baby move at 16 weeks and its my first so don't beleive everything the medical textbooks say about how you can only do that with subsequent babies.

I'm pretty slim and that is apparently a factor in how early you feel the baby. Also the baby's size, position, the position of the placenta etc all play a part.

Yes that's you baby congrats. I feel so awesome to feel you baby move in side of you.Just wait till you see your stomach moving in weird shapes but enjoy it know because when you have your baby sometimes you will wish you can still feel them in your tummy. But when your baby is born you will be amazed that your little baby was inside you.I still AM with my baby and shes now 6 months old.

You should start to feel your baby move soon but it will feel like butterflies in your stomach, not like being on a ride, but real soft fluttering. Congrats on the baby and good luck.

I've read your posts before. You have other children and they say quickening is noticeable sooner after 1st pregnancies. I'll bet you are feeling the baby flutter around!
