Neither did her husband. The way I found out was I saw a baby stork on her front lawn. It has been now 4 days since the baby was born and no phone call to me. I feel like I just got a slap in the face.
Should I call to congratulate or screw it.
PS we used to be close, but for a few months we just used to see eachother in the neighborhood and talk, occassionally on the phone, but not like it used to be.

Apparently your friendship isnt on the up and up since she didnt call you. Course, bringing a new baby home is a big deal so you know she has been busy. But if she still thought of you as a friend, she would have called you. Or invited you over by now. I am thinking you should just write that friendship off as a loss.

well they are quite occupied now with the baby...so don't take offense. Would you really want to call everyone when you spent most of your time sleep deprived?....anyways...as a friend, stop by with a little something for the mother like flowers, and a little something for the baby. Don't remind them that they didn't call you to tell you...obviously they put a stork out front so that they didn't have to call everyone in the world....point is you found out. once over there make the parents feel good about their "beautiful baby" and let them know if they need anything that you're there for them

By all means give her a call, Do you remember what it was like to have two children? so much to do, and so tired. Who knows what kind of delivery she had, who knows what she is going through, Now a good friend will take her over a meal, and a bit of your time, to see how Mon and baby are doing, or a fruit basket, works well, also. Don"t forsake her now, be their for her!

She just had a baby for goodness sakes, dont make this about you. I wasnt on the phone when I just had my kids. What is wrong with you going and getting the baby a gift, flowers for your friend, and going by and giving your congratulations?

I know it hurts. But, be the bigger person and send her a card and note to call you when she's up to it. Then bring a sweet baby gift.
