I am wondering, can it be caused by the fact that we've had a ton of work done on our old (1922) house and all the dust has messed up my nasal passages. If so, how do I get back to my not-snoring self?

Or is it simply a function of getting older?

Have you put on weight ? Are you drinking more than usual..both things can cause snoring...if neither apply I suggest you see you doctor.

Oh poor you! I don't think that anybody truly appreciates how much a baby changes the dynamics of a relationship/marriage. It sounds like you still love your husand and want to try and make things better? He probably feels like a bit of a spare part at the moment, not really knowing where he fits into this relationship of three (that was until recently a relationship of two!). Try being open and honest with him about how you are feeling at the moment and how you understand that things have changed but you still love him. Spending some quality time together (going out for a meal, cinema etc) is probably the best way to start. Your hormones must be all over the place at the moment and I think that women who find themselves being Mums for the first time struggle between the 'Mum' role and the 'wife' role. Don't be so hard on yourself - recognise that things have changed dramatically for you AND your husband and that time, great communication and understanding will start to make you both feel closer and happier. Good luck :o)

Yea sure, it will be the dust and debris from the work in your old house, wash out your nasal passages with warm water and i'm sure it will soon die down again.
