SOME THINGS in the video restrain atheists from doing things that religious ones can.

on sundays you are unable to buy liqour. how is that abotu morals. its directed directly to the day of worship for most. i got respect for all religions and i believe its not right to restrict others if they are athiests. George Bush senior said that he wouldnt want an athiest to ever be president. what does that have to do with running a country good?

They are separate,

But in a Democracy, the laws are going to reflect the morals of the majority of the people, so Faith (not Religion) has an impact on our laws.

This is common sense.

But if they were NOT separate, we would be living in a Religious theocracy, which I doubt that anyone who really thinks about it would really want because one particular Religion would be in charge.

I don't want that even if it were a Catholic one.

We should be free to worship (or not) as we chose.

As for me, I will be Catholic, and respect your right to your own beliefs as long as you are not harming anyone else in doing so.

Peace, and may God Bless you!

I'm an ordained minister in two churches, and I believe that church and state should be separate. I also believe that churches should pay taxes. One of the churches I'm involved in is the only church to proudly pay their taxes.

I think the government tries to often to but its head into religion and make "religious decisions" for us. such as the gay marriage issue

gay marriage is a religious issue because the word marriage is attached

couldn't find your link reference, but yes, church and state are seperate....the reason it doesn't always seem that way is that we are in a majority rules society where most of the majority are god fearing people electing god fearing representatives
.
