Jack, you made me so happy, I was hoping someone would ask.
I am reading "Ask and it is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks (the teachings of Abraham)
And Neal Stephenson is one of my favorite authors

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson

It's a computer-geek/WW II/love story/spy novel. What could be better?

By the way, what's your book?

I would recommend anything by James Patterson. He is great for people who don't read alot, because his writing style is very short chapters which make you feel like your reading very fast and he is great at keeping the pages turning. Also if your into Creepy Books I would go with the King Steven King that is He can Write Peoples Thoughts better than anyone in the business.

I also recommend Good Omens It was a very Funny Book

I always recommend The Thief by Megan Turner. I love the book and all the characters. It is a young adult book but it is not written in that fashion. If you love something that has adventure, intrigue, a thief, a classical feel, with a great surprise ending, this is the book for you.

Wow! Good for you to have interest in reading... not many people nowadays would exchange TV for a library.

i think you should try reading the bible...start with those parts which have things that interest you - if you like love poems, try Songs of Solomons, and if you like stories with moral lessons, try reading the Gospels of Matthew, John, Luke, Mark where Jesus' parables where written. and if you like, it is best to read from the beginning. also try Esther, or Job, or Kings. I promise you, it's worth reading the Holy Scriptures...it's is most enlightening!
keep filling your mind with good stuffsand don't let it rot...you go!

The Secret History - Donna Tartt
Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden (the fact that they made this into a film spoils it a little but the book is excellent).
