A lot of people around here seem to. all i've heard for my whole life is "Vince Lambardi was a great man, Brett Favre is a hero, and Reggie White was a saint."
I watch the packer games to see how bad they suck and to see that everyone's hero is an aging old time favorite, not a football star.
And even when there's no win in sight, many many people, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal, will tell each other that the Pack is great and that Favre is a great one. If he sucks in a particular game, you'd think that people would start to question his playing abilities, but instead they'll talk about how it must be so hard for him because his dad died (like a year or two ago.)
He makes millions, ok. If he's having a hard time with that it's probably because he's shook up about selling his soul to satan.

I'm in Wisconsin and I certainly don't worship Brett Favre in any way, shape or form. But maybe that's because I'm not a football fan! There are a lot of Packer-crazy people here and to be honest it drives me nutty. I'm in Madison so I have to deal with the Badger "crazies." LOL

I don't, but some people do. I think he's way too old and needs to kick the can cause he's really not helping us Packers at all. I mean, he's a nice guy and all, but his good years are dead over.
