I am relatively new to 3D Modelling, however, I need to make a dungeon for my game. I have tried a few modelling programs, but which is the best to use to specifically design rooms? Would I use Maya, DeleD, Blender? Or is there a more specific program that I could use?

maya and blender are the best programmes i have ame across. One important consideration though is well dependent on what language you use would be what extension would your programme accept. you dont want to do aload of work to find it cant handel the file when exported would you.

3ds max used to be the "the" software for developing games, wheras Maya was used more for cinematic effects. . Get the demo's and then plump with the one you're most comfortable with.
