The Yankees have had the Tigers number all year. That will not change. Yankees win today and tomorrow.

Everyone knows who I want to win.
But objectively it's a toss up.
The Tigers (with all of thier "non experience") will go out and play ball the way they have all season. It's no fluke that they have the best road record in MLB, and it is also no fluke that they had the 4th best record in MLB this season.
Jim Leyland has been preaching all year to prepare ONE GAME AT A TIME, and so far it's gotten The Tigers to this point.
Justin Verlander has to throw strikes and be aggressive. No excuses for The Tigers.
Mussina has pitched well against The Tigers, and he will be geeked and ready to go. Derek Jeter is incredible in October, and should be at his best (OMG! I can't believe I'm giving kudos to a traitor!!!). lol
The Tigers know they are playing The Yankees, and they know all the rich history of Yankee Stadium in October. I could babble on and on and on, but I must say that this is a MUST win for Detroit.
Both teams know what is at stake here, and both teams will do whatever it takes to win.
With that said....LETS GO TIGERS!
Well, Kimtasic...what do you have to say now???????????????

This game is not a "Toss up" lol. The Yankees saw Verlander once this year, they smacked him around .. And not Late when he began to tire, early in the year, in June, when he was the flavor of the month in the American League they scored like 6 runs off him. And that was back BEFORE Sheffield (who eats fastballs) amd Matsui (who twists on fastballs like he knows when theyre coming) got back. The Yankees beat verlander with the likes of Melky Cabrera, Andy Phillips, and Bubby Crosby in their lineup. He throws 100mph, well, apparently thats not hard enough for the Yankees, they hit Verlander at a 340 clip, he has a 10.80 era against the yankees... GOOD LUCK Detroit!

I heard on the radio this morning that the Tigers were out warming up last night and NO ONE bothered to tell them that the game had been officially called on account of weather. I'm hoping that p!$$es them off enough to come out swinging tonight. If the Tigers come back to Motown with the series tied at one apiece (and then have to play the next two games at home), it could be lights out in Yankee Stadium until next year...

The Yanks will go up 2-0 today.
Verlander got smacked around against the Yanks earlier this year.
And Mussina has a long history of baffling the Detroit Tigers.

Tigers can't lose. They have potential rookie of the year Verlander on the mound facing the yankees old man. They have their slump out of the way, and they know what they have to do to win. btw, why did they have to reschedule to 1:00, I can't see the game now! (although i am seriously considering skipping physics for it)
CHECK IT OUT! I WAS RIGHT!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
