I think something always comes easier when its a habit. If kids are used to books they'll probably grow into them.

Well dear, very young children need to have their brains stimulated; you can do this by talking to them, playing with them, moving their arms and legs and showing them colours and different textured materials.
But always make sure that the baby is in a safe environment and that none of the items are sharp or able to be swallowed.
Keep talking to your baby all day and enjoy your lives together!

Look at yourself. I bet nobody was reading to you as a child, that is why you never took to reading and learning. I don't mean it as an offense, but it is quite obvious. This is why you have to even ask this question.

The more intellectual stimulation you give a child, the better. The earlier on, the more it is ingrained in them. Whether or not you know it, they are little sponges that soak up every little thing that you have to give them.

reading is excellent stimulates brain function and recall ability.
mommy needs to learn grammar first, though
