For the past week or so, i've been drinking water like crazy! I'll drink a full glass in about 10 minutes, go pee, get more water... same cycle all day! Am I going insane? :) But really... I can't stop! And peeing so much is cutting in to my toliet paper supply like crazy!

Diabetes don't run in my family, I thought that was kinda genetic? I'm not dehydrated, in fact, I've been doing pretty much nothing. Hmmm...

Oh, also, If it is diabetes, does that just happen out of the blue? I usually don't like water that much, but now it's all I want! I don't even want tea anymore (which is my favorite drink!), just water! :)

UPDATE!
Ok, no extra sodium or diet change.
Most def not dehydrated.
No meds.
Does this mean the only 2 options are diabetes or pregnancy? There has got to be a less scary thing going on! BTW, I'm suppose to goto the doctor in the next few weeks... I guess I can find out for sure then!

Well, it could be lots of things.
1. If you are female you could be pregnant
2. you could have increased your sodium intake and your body is reacting
3.. It could be a sign of diabetes.....
I would call your doctor and get some tests done just to make sure.

My first thought would be to check for diabetes. That would be the most serious thing and needs to be brought under control if you are. Don't put it off or you may get into a lot of costly and time comsuming trouble. Otherwise, maybe you have a bladder infection or got really dehydrated and your body is trying to catch up.

That's a good thing! I am forcing myself to drink more water, I just don't like it!

I don't know why you drink so much water, maybe you are eating salty foods lately? Or maybe it is just very hot outside and your body needs the extra hydration!

But, if you have anything else alarming, like feeling tired all the time, dizziness, headaches or any other symptoms that something isn't right, you may need to consult your doctor!

If not, you are fine and on the right beauty path... ;-)

Maybe you should go and get a diabetes test. Thirst if one of the main signs of this disease. My friend had the same problem and ignored it for 6 months and when she finially got tested she had insulin dependent diabetes. Don't take that chance, get tested.

Go get checked for diabetes. That doesn't sound good. But I'm no doctor.

My Grandmother told me that the same thing happened to her when she first got Diabetes. Talk to your doctor.

Are you being more physical lately or taking new medication? Maybe just dehydrated. Should really go see a doctor!

Have you checked to see if your blood sugar is normal?
Diabetes does cause thirstyness....or maybe it's just dry mouth.
