I've had some brief incidents, but the nasty one I shall always remember involved a neighbour. There were double lines outside her house prohibiting parking, but regardless of this a young woman parked on the grassy verge, not only breaking the law, but also making a nasty mess with her tyres. My neighbour, a lady of mature years, came out to remonstrate and the driver leaped out of the car, gave my neighbour a great shove so that she was left sprawling helplessly in the road and then got into her car again and drove straight at her! Somehow she managed to roll over and get out of the way, avoiding serious injury. My husband reported the matter to the police, who made enquiries and traced the driver, but took no action "because she suffered from depression". All the more reason to deal with her, if her mental state caused her to attack helpless elderly ladies with her car!

I feel embarrassed to say because actually I provoked it; although kind people say I didn't deserve the consequence and I agree with that.
Well, I was on my scooter and in a hurry to get to work on time. It was rush hour and the traffic was particularly bad due to some road works. The road, as so many here, was narrow and there was a long line of cars stopped at the red light. As usual, I manoeuvred my scooter between kerb and the standing cars hoping to get to the front so I could move off faster when the light changed. There was a white van that had stopped much closer to the kerb than all the others, but I thought I could pass it by walking my scooter past and tilting it towards the pavement. However, my mirror clipped his wing mirror as I passed. It really was no big thing and I said I was sorry, but I kept going. The old man in the van began to shout at me and blow his horn (and top) and I thought : "I don't have time for this! It was just a nudge of the mirror!"
Anyway, I forgot all about it and was stopped by another red light a few blocks away. All of a sudden I felt some pain in my shoulder blade. I turned in shock and it was the old man from the van! He'd been chasing me and had left his van four cars back, marched up to me and punched me, quite hard! I can't say it was intense pain; I was wearing a leather jacket anyway, so had some padding. It was the total shock of it that stunned me. I just couldn't react! Had no idea what he might do next. Then the light changed to green and I went to work, keeping a look-out for more trouble from him.
Although I was to blame, his reaction was much too strong, don't you agree? I hate helmets, but it was good I was wearing one otherwise he might have punched me in the head.
Odd thing is, when he saw my face, he looked really shocked too! I think he thought I was a man and may have felt bad to have punched a woman. Still, that is no excuse.
(Unless he had mistaken me for someone who had done something really bad to him before; you know how hard it is to recognise anyone on a motorbike or scooter! Guess I'll never know!)

Yes. I won't go into details but I should've called the police. I was in a Mustang convertible and he was in a semi truck. I don't even know what the hell I did, I think he just had something against people who drove fast cars. People who partake in road rage should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Remember that sicko who killed the lady's poor little dog. Never pull over and confront an angry driver and don't hesitate to call the police.

A taxi driver (black cab) at the traffic lights Regents Crescent London was in front of me when on stop. for whatever reason he got out ran up to my car opened the door and called me a diego greek bastard and slammed the door it as hard as he could.
A little shocked I got out to ask him what it was all about as I had only just pulled up behind him after enering the Crescent from another street and to wxplain that I was english and my parent end their parents were also English and probably their parents also> the lights changed and he drove off as fast as he could.
There are several other incidents also but hey ho just get on with it, lifes to short. Dwelling on it does not help and there are laws against beating the hell out of these people

I haven't been a victim but I knew this woman who shook her fist at a guy on a roundabout for cutting her up. She looks a bit like a man at first glance and the other motorist must have thought she was. He went full circle, followed her, cut in front of her to stop her and got out of his car and walked towards hers. Now she was stupid for winding down her window to have a word with him because as he got to the side of her car he punched her smack in the face breaking her nose. He then walked back to his car and drove away and she was in too much distress to take his number down!

no, but my best friend has. she was in a car with three other girls. this car came up behind them, and it was someone who did not like one of the girls in my friend's car. my friend was not the one driving though. well, these girls behind them flashed a gun, and my friend's car went speeding down roads...making turns at high speeds...my friend was on the phone with the police trying to explain to them what is going on. the police stopped the other car..and my friend got home safe.
