First off, I would make sure this is a legitimate position. Most email positions are fraudulent. If it is legitimate then I would respond as:

Dear Erick;

Your first translation is in progress. As soon as I am finished with this first one, I will translate the next request.

Sincerely,
James.

I hope this helps. But please make sure that this is a legitimate job.

Dear Erik.

Thank you for sending the last file.

As you know literal translations do tend to take a little time to complete and i am sure you want me to be as accurate as possible.

Once i have completed the first one and had your approval i will continue with the second.

It is not my intention to waste your time but no one will benefit if the translation is wrong.

Yours sincerely.

James.

Tell Erick to hold his horses. You aren't done with the first one yet.

It's a job? or are you just helping someone out?
It sounds okay.....Are you a translater by trade or just bylingual?
Either way, go for it if you like helping people...couldn't hurt, right?
Good luck ! ! !
