There are lots of nice web sites that are designed just for travel. Yahoo! Travel is nice because you can search by zip code...then you can see just how far you will have to travel to just relax and enjoy your weekend. It also offers attractions and calendars of events. I have found it's very helpful. Good Luck!

When we need some time away, my husband and I will rent a hotel room for a few days and pretend that we're tourists in our own city. We'll go to museums and other tourist spots that locals usually don't visit.

yes ..come and visit our Performing Arts Soc home in Gloucestershire.......a Mansion lodge set in acres of private forest estate......a recording studio to play in...and champagne........if you rearly are classy ill through in a party........[neighbours richard ashcroft /the verve.]
