They became the biggest punchline in the music bussiness. They still had some good songs though. This was one of them.

I knew you were going to say Milli Vanilli...their songs weren't great...they were popular at the time though. I actually saw them in concert w/Paula Abdul & Tone Loc...it was the 1st concert I ever went to I think I was 10!!!!!

Yes, I remember when Milli Vanilli won "best new artists" and then it turned out they had been lip syncing to other singers' voices---in Europe music videos often used lypsyncing for artistic effect but in the USA it was considered unethical. (Good thing M. Vanilli weren't in our Congress).

Oh, I remember them. I hated them back in the day and squealed with glee (not literally) when they got busted for lip synching. I did feel somewhat bad for the guy who killed himself, but he obviously had bigger problems than lack of vocal talent and no musical taste whatsoever. Ironically, the first time I ever heard one of their songs in its entirety was when I watched the VH1 "Behind the Music."

Yea, back when integrity was still hanging on by it's teeth in the music biz. They (MV) were exploited cuz it still mattered. If these guys were out there today, nobody would notice that they were lip synchin.

i totally remember them.........i don't have any idea what you mean when you say that "they" had some good songs though, since "they" didn't even sing them!
