California King Mattress - 98" long - 76" wide
Regular King Mattress - 85" long - 86" wide

A king size mattress is 76 x 80. A California king is 72 x 84. That's what the tag says on the label on the packaging of my new mattress and box spring. That is for a Serta mattress.

take two twin mattresses and put them together, side by side. That's the size of a king mattress.

If you take 2 single/twin beds and put them together then you have a king. about 5' wide and about 6.5' long.
