After the lies that lead to the Iraq War, tax cuts , huge deficits, no contract bids, torture, wiretapping, hurricane Katrina. New facts coming out that the CIA warned Condi Rice, Rumsfield of an imminent Al-Quaeda attack and nothing was done. No exit strategy for Iraq, the fact that we are more in danger from terrorisim than before this war. The fact that we are being beaten in Afghanistan. The newest republican strategy is to let the Taliban back in power, what next Saddam being reinstated. Even with all of this information certain brain dead morons will still say Dumya is "tough on terrorisim" or that we need to "stay the course". How do you convince an idiot to pull his hand out of the fire???

Its obvious from the people here that no matter what the president does or says he will have their full support. So I think they are not so much as ignorant but blindly following an ideology that is doomed to fail. So no matter how much proof is offered they will continue to follow him, it is time for people that can think for themselves and can disseminate fact from propaganda to step up. Find solace in the fact you are not a lemming.

About as ignorant as those who DON'T support the president. It's an OPINION, no more, no less, and it does NOT denote intelligence.
Let's see:
What lies that led to the Iraq war? WMD's were found.
Tax cuts? Oh yes, how HORRIBLE, even though the closing numbers for DOW were a record high, and two more high records have been set since Bush became president...
Huge deficits? What do you expect when we're at war?
No-contract bids? THAT is nothing new.
Torture? What torture? Oh, you mean the torture at Abu Ghraib? The torture that had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with Bush or his administration?
Hurricane Katrina? That was the STATE GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSIBILITY. The mayor of New Orleans, and the governor of Louisiana MESSED UP.
Yes, there was prior warning, somewhat, to 9/11. But there was NO information coming in on WHO was going to attack, WHERE they were going to attack, WHEN they were going to attack, or HOW they were going to attack.
How are we more in danger? There were eight SUCCESSFUL terrorist attacks under Clinton. There's only TWO that were successful since Bush has been president, and one was in Great Britain.
Since when is the Taliban being "allowed" to come back into power? We are not being "beaten" in Afghanistan, we just need more troops there!
Wiretapping? Oh yes, the wiretapping that is STILL LEGAL, and not unprecedented. The same wiretapping that has PREVENTED terrorist attacks. Oh, shame on Bush, he's supposed to ALLOW us to be attacked.

And you call the people who support the president an idiot. The least you could do is come up with stuff that's TRUE.

Edit: By the way, I am not a Republican or a Democrat; my voting registration card says NON-AFFILIATED, and my voting record is split pretty much 50/50. Oh, and I'm neutral on both Bush, and the war in Iraq. So I cannot be called a typical Bush supporter, or a warmonger!

There will always be Republicans and Democrats in this country. And we will always fight and quibble
among ourselves. If Clinton was the president right
now the Republicans would be kvetching. Each side thinks the other side are a bunch of morons. Looks
like the Republicans are the top morons this time.
By the by, I'm a Democrat and I wasn't all that
keen on Clinton's reign either.

These people are no more ignorant than the automatons who worship the other major party. This two party system needs to die and soon! We need not only new blood in government but we need some people who are not affraid to buck the status quo and get off the two party, oppression band wagon. We need people with enough guts to stand up to the power elite and to let them shoot off any salvo they wish in order to show that honesty, integrity, and empathy can succeed in American Government. Unfortunately the current two party system has very little honesty (I think it is a requirement to lie!), barely enough integrity to breath, and definately no empathy for the plight of the American people they are supposed to represent. Instead, they lie to the people, destroy their own integrity, and could give a rats behind about the problems of the American people as long as big business is happy and the rest of the world knows we will invade at the drop of a hat for no reason. It is a sad day in American History and a sad day in American Politics.

To sum it up.....I firmly believe ALL DEMOCRATS and ALL REPUBLICANS are in the same sinking boat of low moral integrity, greater and greater lies, and a lack of compassion.

I am sure you have always been a die hard dem and no matter what a Rep does, you will not like it. There is no talking or reasoning with you so what is the point? I will say that I am not necessarily happy with every thing that has gone on or happens in the Bush administration, but I was extremely unhappy with many things that happened during Clinton's administration. If Clinton had dealt with this threat long ago, we wouldn't be here.

Once again the undercover brother has spoken. Stop fixating on what is wrong with others and start putting an end to the African American on African American violence in your communities that is causing far greater loss of valuable lives than the war in Iraq and has been going on for a far longer period of time. Fix that and then you can criticize others.

Well I would expect that from a African American. Seeing as most of you are either Liberals or Democrats. I will just say this, do not believe that media. Democrats and Liberals blow things up, then act like parrots and spread it all over the place. They are like gossipy women ( no offense ladies ) who will not shut up. It would be interesting to see how a Liberal Democrat would handle terror. I am just guessing here, but I would say there would have been many more attacks on our soil after 911 if they were in charge!!

Ignorant is the wrong word, although I agree that they are. These people prefer to delude themselves than admit they were wrong--rather like our fearless leader himself. They have an answer for everything--a wrong answer, but that doesn't seem to matter. Facts don't seem to matter much to them, either.
And, oh, please, stop blaming "the media." The media were all gung-ho on Iraq at the beginning. I remember because I was totally disgusted with the flag-waving, yellow-ribbon, let's all jump off the cliff together coverage, Dan Rather included. And you right-wingers have Fox to more than make up for any alleged bias on the liberal side.
