There's loads of hospital based sitcoms. Channel Five do not show new British sitcoms so it was probably C4 you saw it.
Most likely "Green Wing" but it could have been something like "Darkplace"

Sorry, yet maximum of you're incorrect. for many sitcoms those days, the laughter does not come from a studio aim industry. in certainty, maximum of them are not even filmed in front of an aim industry anymore. The laughter you hear honestly is coming from a lot of lifeless human beings through fact the snigger tracks (recordings) they use have been recorded in the 50s and 60s.

and what type of hospital is it? city based building or on the spot where it's a makeshift hospital?
