Sounds very Republican to me.

Even if they do throw this guy in front of a judge, he won't serve anymore then 3 years in prison. Hell, they could have found a video tape of him nabbing 5th graders from a field trip, raping them in the ***, and he would still only be in jail for 5 years.
Our sentences concerning rape/molestation are ******* ludicrous, because these people are let back out on the streets to strike again while a million or so non-violent offenders rot in their cells.
Isn't it totally ***-backwards that a pot head who's been caught in possession of a joint three times will be sentenced for 5 years in prison, and will usually serve that entire term, but every month I read about a repeat sex offender being sentenced to 5-10 years and being out in 2-3 years.

As much as the Liberals want to try to spin this thing for political gain at election time, it boils down to the fact that perversion, criminal activity, and coverup aren't limited to one party. I don't think Liberals want to start picking at that particular scab.

Can you say Bill Clinton (stinky cigar, stained dress, and lies to the American public), Ted Kennedy (drunk, philanderer, and still has seaweed hanging from his steering wheel), and here's a great one...Dem representative Gerry Studds in 1983 had actual sex with a 17 year old male page, not just IM or emails, and not only did he just get a slap on the wrist censure, he got reelected in Masachusetts and served until his 1996 retirement! On the other hand, Republican Daniel Crane, who had sex with a female page, immediately lost his Illinois seat. I can come up with more if you want...so spare me the hypocrisy. Not only do Libs engage in the same kinds of behavior, or worse, they evidently reward and admire their guys who do it.

I think sweeping generalizations are usually a bad idea. You are a fine example of why the two party system has brought government progress to a virtual halt these days. It is past time for sweeping changes in our current system.

Oh, about the same as I felt about Bubba Clinton and the insertion of a cigar with Monica in the Oval Office. When it comes to off-beat sex, neither party has a monopoly.

I think you are getting confused.
The messenger may not be good, but the message surely is. We must continue in our ways to nab child molesters, expose them and prevent attacks.

It fits in with the Republican vision of "morality".
