If it is growing, what is the Moon's food?

Does the moon rule over our emotions and if so, is it feeding on us here on Earth?

Wow! Apparently this question about the moon is ruling some emotions! :-)
According to some, the Moon is alive in the same sense that the Earth is alive, the clouds are alive and the very stones on this planet are alive. Everything is imbued with, created by and existing due to Spirit; therefore, everything is alive and related.
- Food? Spirit.
- Rule our emotions? We (our physical makeup) consist of what % H2O? The Moon rules the tides. Our Physical being effects our state of emotions; ergo, the Moon rules our emotion, to a certain extent. :-)
- Feeding off of us here on Earth? Highly unlikely. If so, it's a symbiotic relationship. :-)

Good question and makes you think, not sure if the moon is feeding off our emotions but it does have an effect on peoples emotions usually round the full moon, some people are a bit crabby when the moon is full.

The moon is a big dead rock in orbit around Earth. Some say it is there to take a beating from celestial bodies. Others believe it is there to control wind direction and the tides. Both are equally justifiable.

There is no emotion tied to the moon... well, except for that time in the 1960s when America landed on it. We planted a flag there, you know. (Does that make it part of the United States? Hmmm...)

Except for the addition of a bit of dust - the moon is as dead as a dead thing.

As for ruling over emotions; well, it's doesn't rule over the emotions of the general population, with the exception of yourself I suspect.

We do have the moon to thank for life on this planet however; it has had (And still does have) a major impact on the development of this planet.

The moon is an inanimate object and has no specific desires or emotions. The moon is "alive" in the sense that it has an assigned task of providing light and keeping its orbit in the solar system. For more info ,google it.

The moon is not dead yet because we haven't ruined it like we have Earth. Moon affects tides. Our bodies are comprised of 75% water, so moon has an affect on humans, also.

Maybe the moon does affect us directly.

It affects the water on this planet due to its proximity... and we as humans are 70% water. The moon affects our physiology DIRECTLY and accordingly has an effect on our emotions.

But I think th emoon isn't growing, its on a diet.

the moon is a big lump of rock in the sky. it doesn't need to eat, and doesn't grow, and it was never alive so it cannot be dead.

The moon is dead.
apart from gravitational pull it has no other influence whatsoever.
It's Food.
It is responsible from time to time for making people barking mad with superstition, and the odd howling at full moon.
