Gotta hand it to the Star Wars movies. Psh, even the old ones had special effects (well, at least at the time). And the newest one was pretty cool.

Dead Man's Chest, War of the Worlds. The most realistic visual effects I've ever seen. The folks at ILM are geneus's.

Forrest Gump. There are lots of special effects on that film and they are seamless. On the science fiction films special effects are too obvious.
