There is a new law that has been passed making it ilegal to discriminate because of a persons age. But they could anyway and just not say. It's up to you, I put my date of birth on mine.

It is probably a bad idea to highlight it. Potential employers might have a bee in their bonnet about the ideal age they are looking for and dismiss you from their minds as too old or too young (despite recent legislation). Prospective employers will want to see your date and place of birth and you should provide those details, but your cv is really a kind of self-advertisement to show them what a valuable addition you could be to their staff and so you should draw their attention to what you are able to do (as evidenced by what you have done already) rather than something as inconsequential as your age.

In USA, it is illegal for a company to ask a candidate's age, and a candidate is under no obligation to offer this information.
In other countries the customs are different, and often companies actaully advertise an age requirement, as if it would matter to the position "Engineer, under 35" :).

Absolutely not!!!! Not only that, but you should not put the year you graduated from any schools. Age discrimination is hard to prove but it is out there and you do not need to give them any ammunition.
Also, limit your resume to the last 10 years of experience. Any thing prior to that is probably not relavant anyway.

You should generally include your date of birth - potential employers will look for that and if they're smart enough be able to work out your age. If they can't do that simple sum you probably don't want to be working for them when it comes to working out your wages!

You do not need to write your age explicitly, just state your date of birth in your personal profile within the C.V.
Hope that helps

As your date of birth yes.
if you don't employers will assume you're hiding something and work it out from your education & work experience anyway.
Your national insurance number tells everyone the year and quarter you were born anyway.

If asked to, you must enter your age. CVs usually ask your
age.

no just your date of birth, but under new uk guidelines of age discrimination, i think you shouldn't write anything like that. Let them take you on your skills not your age!!
