ok. i was talking to this guy who i have known for about 2 1/2 years. and i've like him for that long too. but we never reallly talked like that. so we recently just started talking and hanging out and he told me that he liked me. well i was in a relationship and he told me that i should just break up with my bf and we'll "hang out." so i did and my bf was an a** to me anyways so it was ok. he told my friend that he liked me and could see us together. so we kept talking. well then all of a sudden he just stopped talking to me. so i question his actions. i asked him if there was something i did wrong that he stopped talking to me and he said no. i asked him why he had me break up with my bf if nothing was happening with me and him and he said he never told me that he said that. so i said w/e and asked him if he really did like me and he said yea but he couldn't see me as his gf. he doesn't know why but he just can't. so what should i do? i've cried and thought of reasons why but idk...

You should never make your decisions based solely on what someone else is telling you to do when it comes to stuff like that. If your bf was a jerk to you then you should have broken up with him for that reason, not because some other guy told you to break up with him so that two of you could get together. That way you won't have any regrets if things don't go as planned. Furthermore, when it comes to guys, they spend a lot of time observing a girl's character. Who knows. Maybe he figures that if you just dropped your bf because he said you should, then you'd probably do the same thing to him later on down the line. Play it smart. Make your decisions based on logical thinking and being realistic. Who cares what some other guy thinks. Good luck

The first thing you did right was break up with the guy that was a jerk. Second if this other guy is stringing you along forget him and go and find someone else who will be honest with you. Regardless that you have known him for 2 1/2 years or not it sounds like he isn't as genuine as you first thought. Move on and find someone else. That's my advise, I hate liars and I have no tolerance for them. Good Luck.

The problem is not the guy who told you a lie, the problem is that you allowed yourself to be taken for ride by this guy, you had a boyfriend and you don't just leave him because someone sweet talked you into leaving him. Some guys just want to show they can have any girl and target those with boyfriends and husbands as it helps their ego to prove they can make a woman leave their man for them. Don't cry, it was your mistake, you allowed it to happen even though you had a boyfriend, now learn from this and move on.

Sometimes you like someone but when you get to know them better you realise that maybe you don't like them that much to go one step further. Its like when you want something and you long to have it but when you get it you don't want it anymore, then when you loose it you want it back again.
