For a good buffet like Paris or Bellagio, expect to pay about 20-40 bucks depending on if you go for lunch or dinner.
Why not try a good local restaurant? The Peppermill is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. You should try it. (It is a coffee shop with a vegas lounge feel)

depending on where you want to eat. For a high-end buffets like Bellagio $35, Aladdin $29.95, Paris $30, etc....or you can go to smaller casinos and get cheaper prices. I recommend Aladdin's buffets, it's the best in Vegas (in my opinion). It has a variety of food ranging from American, Italian, Asian and Seafood like endless Alaskan King Crab's legs.....yum yum....it will worth every penny.

I'd say something higher than $7.00 pp. But not by much. And if you're staying at the hotel you get 2-for-1 coupons. The casinos want you to spend all your money gambling and drinking, therefore the food is cheap.

free! It's Vegas baby.
Sarkatick is right about the Aladdin though. The Spice Market is my favorite. And I've never paid.
