good of you to admit you have a huge ego.
if you dont want to actually say the words sorry, why dont you buy her gifts, or take her out to do the things she wants to do. at least this shows her that your trying to make things right again

You say what you just said without the how.
"I have a big ego, and I am so sorry I hurt you. I feel really guilty." Honest regret goes a long way.
But don't expect it to be all peachy right away. I don't know what you did, but trust is huge for people and it might never be there with her and you.

Just go near and tell with humility ...I am Sorry.
But before telling that be sure that you have put your huge ego in your pocket.
Actually to be frank i dont do it , I just sit by the side quiet patiently and persistantly as long as it goes.Some times not saying works better than saying something like that.

I hope that hurt your ego a little bit, maybe shows you you're not "all that". If you really cared about her you would just sincerely say you are sorry push your ego aside also, it's hard to deal with someone when they have such a big head.

Depending on what you did to her.Prove to her that your not a egotisic jerk by giving her something she's been wanting.Listen to her,every girl drops hints and tells you what she want and how she wants it,it up to you to listen to her.Take her someplace special,someplace that's special to the both of you,pack a picnic,put you heart in to it,let her know you care.Tell her your sorry and really mean it(it'a not going to work if you don't mean it an feel it).Listen to your heart if you really care for her and love her you'll know what to say.Good luck and work on that ego of yours,it's only going to hurt you in the long run.
