I think they're Super Bowl contenders because of Tom Brady's greatness.

It may be perceived that the Patriots don't have wide receivers because they might not presently have a star name on the roster. Come playoff time, the Pats will be there regardless what individual stats reveal.
The Pats organization -top to bottom- is conducive to producing wins and rings despite the lack of household names on the back of a player's jersey.
*They're not playin fantasy football!

they always have been a SUPER BOWL threat regardless if they have recievers or not,with a quarterback like Tom Brady anyone that has him would be a threat even the Cardinals and thats scary

I think they are still a competitite football team. But I do not think they can reach the superbowl this time
