it will be for a 11 year old with learning difficulties, so must be easy to use but not babyish.

mavis beacon typing or something like that. my mom got it when she needed to be a faster typist for school. it's really good, and they have different lessons and games depending on your age. the adult level wasn't "baby-ish" at all.

Interesting! I've dyslexia and these Guys were a great help to me. Their are charity that are specialists in IT help for those with disabilities. They also help with sourcing in regards to obtaining funding. Have you heard Dragon Naturally Speaking? It is a voice recognition package. The Aidis will probably tell you more about it.
