I dont know if is a good idea or not contact someone i haven't spoken to in a while.

I don't see the harm in Wishing him a Happy Birthday... But do ask if its ok with your current bf u don't want no conflict, and issues to arrise from a simple call, or even a text. Good Luck

No, you shouldn't contact him. There's no reason to unless you have some other motive. Been there, done that, nothing but trouble. How would feel if the situation were reversed, and your boyfriend contacted his ex?

Yeah why not, ur just friends, But keep it strictly friendship. And let ur boyfriend know u called to wish him happy birthday. I dont see the big deal, If ur boyfriend trusts u he wouldnt mind.

Sounds harmless to me. What's the big deal? Unless you're secretly still interested in your ex this is a no-brainer.
