You're not alone. It can be very frightening when we feel out-of-control in a situation. Your just as important as anybody else and your input just as valuable.
Try to believe in yourself, which is easier said than done, but you should try to remember that noone is better than you, just as you're not better than someone else.
You might also try to pause a second or two in any situation where you begin to feel nervous, take a couple of good deep breaths, and then take action.
Good luck, and remember that confidence can often creep up on you. A few positive responses, a few good times and like a virus it takes hold. Also, if you say something and people respond negatively, it may be that they are ignorant, but just sound strident. He who shouts loudest generally isn't right.
Teenage years can be a nightmare, especially when those around you seem so confident, but don't be taken in. 99% of teenagers are scared to hell 99% of the time. Life and experience just help come to terms with this fear, and to not let it hinder us too much in day to day life.

Yup, the adult hormones kicked in . . . mostly when life hits with stuff you're not prepared for ( at any age ) stop, take multiple long slow breaths and if someone needs a response . . . tell them " this will require more research, let me get back to you". Basically hold off doing anything until you have had time to think it through. Most serious problems come from jumping too soon and doing the wrong thing as opposed to waiting and doing it when you are comfortable with the choice.

I think your age plays a big role. Dont be so hard on yourself and allow yourself to be human. Good luck to you, take care

Most teens feel that way. You will outgrow it.
