Hugh Hefner bought a photo of Marilyn cheaply, for it was too hot to handle in 1953. It seems tame by current standards, but it caused a sensation in 1953, because it was a known actress nude. Marilyn was called "Sweetheart of the Month", but the next centerfolds were "Playmates of the Month"s. This "Playboy" #1 is valuable to collectors,and not many still exist. It isn't easy to find one for sale. You can check Amazon.com and e-bay, but don't be disappointed if you have no luck. I see various magazine stores online, but I've never seen "Playby" #1 for sale in any of them. Try to figure a way to put out ads for this mag. You can try your local newspaper. Antique mags may be better. If any books on old mags carry ads, you can try them. Can you go to Glamourcons? You can check them.

If you continue to watch Ebay it can pop up. You have to spend time looking and put it in the search. Also they was a section called "Want It Now". You fill out what you are looking for and it stays there a certain amount of time. A seller can contact you when they have the item. It really works.
