Yes it is cheating even though his attempt failed. But if she would have said yes then what do you think would have happened?!He would have cheated.Failed attempt to cheat means your man has cheating on his mind.Have a good heart felt talk with hubby and even suggest counselling if you value your relationship.Men have been cheating on women since or before biblical times but the question is why.If all your efforts fail then kick hubby to the curb and find your just rewards.Good Luck(sincerely)HAGD

It all depends.... you say it was a "Date"... Maybe wrong word usage on his part, but if your husband ask a coworker out for drinks or coffee, that my dear is NOT cheating. What you dont want himto have any friends OUTSIDE of you? Regardless if she says yes or no, it does not change the fact. If you let us know the whole story and not just what you want us to know so that we will favor your descision, I am sure that he will come out on top, no pun intended.

I would have to say YES!! The intentions were there! He wanted to take it further, but this girl refused his advances. Don't worry, there will be one that won't.

Cheating, to me, is not just the act of sex. It is a betrayal of trust, and lack of respect for your spouse. If he is willing to go so far as to ask someone out on a date, do you honestly believe that he won't go further (he probably already has).

I'm sorry! I honestly feel for you! But, don't justify his actions and make excuses for him. Thank God you found out before the act actually occured and get counceling to try to prevent it from happening again. Good luck to you

I am sure it is either the coworker or your husband's secret admirer who told you this. Beware of such persons. Is it not possible that it is rather the coworker who asked your husband out? I am sure that it is out of shame that the coworker made that malicious allegation against him. Trust your husband otherwise you will wreck your marriage. Beware of marriage wreckers.

How about "attempted cheating". If you shoot someone and they do not die, that is attempted murder and not murder since they did not actually die. So the fact that he tried and failed, I would call it attempted cheating. It seems that he had every intention of cheating and made every effort to make it happen, he was just shot down by his coworker...

WHAT??? Your husband asking anyone out should be forbidden! Honey, are you blind? If my husband asked someone else out, that would be it for him in my book! Get a grip! You guys either have serious communication problems or he's trying to push you away b/c he's a coward and can't tell you how he really feels.

Yes!! Why would he consider asking her out on a date if he didn't have INTENTIONS of cheating?!?! He's probably cheated before if he's bold enough to ask a co-worker out on a date!

yes.

Once he is starting to make an emotional connection with someone not you, he is cheating.

Besides, either he is obsessed with this person or he will simply find another as there is obviously something missing (in his mind) with you.

If what you have is worth preserving, he needs to have his head straightened out. YOU will have to do something.
