Just go to the Oak Lawn area, there is a lovely little community we lovingly refer to as "Homo Heights". There are bars, many have specific clientele. Leather, Lesbian, etc. There are lovely boutiques, restaurants, etc. The near neighborhood is full of apartments and houses that have been restored beautifully and are largely occupied by "birds of a feather" It is a very pleasant area.
