Here we go….seat down and relax cause this going to take a long time…I went to Africa for the first time (I was born there but lived in Europe almost all my life-since I was 4-I am now 32). What I notice in Africa is that they have all the things necessary to make their own living the only thing they need is FINANCIAL HELP. There is kids there….(yes kids because that is the area that I want to concentrate on).. that have the wheel power to study and be a future Engineer or Doctor but they simple cant because they do not have teachers to teach- the government does not pay the workers so how can they teach or do other works related with Education. In Medical area that is another disaster you can see people dying after your eyes just because of 5000 franc cefa which is no more than 6 pounds sterling UK money. * I know is very sad* but is the truth! The question I am trying to formulate is …there is any charity out there that is willing to help? Anywhere that someone knows that I could approach for this case because since I came from Africa I think I am failing those kids. I know I cannot change the world but if we could help each other maybe we will be living in a better World? What you guys think?

Oxfam, Amnesty International, Goal, Trocaire, Concern. If it could be done without the interference of a government that is corrupt and indifferent, it would have been done 20 years ago. Perseverence is the only way but there'll always be barriers and obstacles. Solve the problem of inequality and racism and you lay the founbdation of a better chance of establishing reliable and safe education systems

There are many many charities out there. One problem that was encountered with alot of the countries is the government is taking the food and supplies and using them. The rest of the people miss out. However peace corp and other such charities have found a way to go stright to the places that need the help instead of going through the government. Start a charity yourself but make sure you are aware of government regulations in your country and the country(ies) you are trying to help.

I understand what you are talking about. I love in Africa. Lucky for me, I live in Egypt which is not as bad as elsewhere in Africa. There are the missionaries that are doing their part in Africa. What they are doing is not enough, but this is as much as they can do. When I was a teenager, I thought about going on one of those missionaries for a couple of years and do my share of help. I am not into that idea now much. I might try to visit and help in the future if I could.

There are hundreds of international charities working in Africa. You might start with "Doctors Without Borders" and go from there.

There are already plenty of charities trying to raise money for such things, but there would be nothing wrong with it if you wanted to start up another to drum up support for these people...
