I have started to think that when enough women get to liking a male athlete or entertainer, that's when straight men come up with gay rumors about him, or at least start saying he's untalented and insulting him. I'm seeing that with Tony Stewart, the race car driver, now; I have seen it with other drivers and with various actors and musicians as well.

Do y'all think this theory holds water? And what are your experiences?

It seems with celebrities that people love helping them up the ladder and quickly knocking them down. People need to get a life and not be so cruel and unkind. Who cares if someone is straight or gay? It is no ones business except the people involved. I think people tend to be cruel to other people when they are not happy with their own life and want to bring other people down.
