I have been married for 4 months and it already seems like so much work to stay happy. We are both 27 and I have 4 children from a previous relationship and he has none of his own. We both work and we are geneally pretty stable. I have no major complaints. But long term? How do you put up with minor issues you have with each other? How do you go your whole life being with one person? I love my husband and I know he loves me but forever? How?

You both have to give and take.It's not a bed of roses all the time. But the smell of the rose is worth the **** it takes to fertilize it with.

Did any of these questions happen to cross your mind before you married this man and put him in your childrens lives? Here is how you go your whole life with one person.
You are with them today, and then tommorrow and then the next day and so on.....
There are minor issues and yes even major ones that are going to come up in a marriage and what you do is you remember the part that goes something like "for better or for WORSE"
Dont quit the first time things arent perfect.

The two of you have to have excellent communication skills. You should always sit down and talk whenever you have time, ask about one anothers day, and most importantly be honest with everything.
Trust is another important issue. Lack of trust can lead to infidelity in a relationship and bitterness as well.
Also, you should always be interested in trying new things when it comes to sex. Spicening the sex life up a bit helps you enjoy your partner even more. Sexual toys, role playing, sexual dice, body oils, and treats can make sex even more pleasurable for the two of you.

Maybe you should take it one day at a time. Thinking about "forever" can be overwhelming. The past no longer exsists and the future has yet to happen, all you have is today, this very moment. Live in the moment! Keep in mind that expectations are premeditated resentments.

1st of all, yall need to keep talking to each other, make time to spend time with each other without the kiddos, if it is just for 4 hours a week. send each other emails like you're hot,sexy, gorgeous and beautifull or emails with Have a GREAT Day or just say I'm thinking about you or I love you. put sexy notes in the bathroom for one another to read. That's just a few things to do! Good Luck!

If you devote your time and energy to your marriage then your marriage will work, if you question the union, then you need to sit down and communicate your concerns to your spouse.
