This days it is not expected of a women to be virgin before getting married however if she has told you she is virgin then it's another story and you should have all the right to feel bet raid.

Reading in b/n the lines, it seems like u had been miss lead because if she is called your wife then u didn't 've sexual intercourse till u got married so u've been mislead.

The way I see it, it doesn't matter if the women is a virgin or not but we all are different

Well, since you posted this in the LGBT catagory, I can only assume you're possing this question to lesbians.

My "wife" (partner) was not a virgin, and for that I'm actually quite happy. I don't think I would have the patience with a virgin. I like being with someone who has at least the first clue of what to do and has a little creativity.

Interesting question considering where you posted it.

It is unrealistic to expect anyone to be a virgin before marriage in this day and age.

Virginity is certainly not even close to being the most important attribute a good spouse has. It would not make my top 20!

However, if you or she were to lie to the other about this...THAT is a problem. Basic honesty is crucial to the survival of your relationship.

You can tell "little white lies" to spare feelings, but this sort of lie is the kind that can not be kept secret, because you never know who else already knows and is willing to share....

If she told me she was a virgin and then I later on found out she wasn't I'd be pissed because then that meant that she lied to me.

Yes because she told me that she was one. I wouldn't be upset that she's not a virgin, I would be upset because she lied and there is no reason for that. I accept her for who she is, virgin or not.

If I were her husband, it would matter very much to me if she were a virgin.

I assume you mean "not a virgin BEFORE you married her" -- if you're married now and she's STILL a virgin, then SOMEbody isn't takin' care of business!

But to answer your (assumed) question: no, it wouldn't bother me -- I can't and shouldn't bust her chops over what she did before she ever met me.
