I'm American, born and raised, and of Hispanic background. My appearance is unmistakably Hispanic. Now, with all the issues with illegal immigration, I'm noticing attitudes, ugly stares, and even stupid remarks. Do I have to wear a shirt that says "I'm born in the U.S."?? Why can't people get it that not all Hispanics are illegal!

you might be legal but were your parents or their parents. People are getting fed up with all the illegals coming over here and taking up residence. Taking away jobs because they will work for lower wages. They live 4 or 5 familys to a house and refuse to learn English. We hake it very easy for immigrants. In other countries this is not true. In Italy for instance if I was not a citizen I would not be able to get a job. I also don't think the phone lines there say " for Italian press 1. I hate having to press 1 for English. If you cant speak or understand go home and learn it and call back when you can.

Seems to be world wide issue these days, no you don't have to advertise the fact of who you are or were you were born, never give racists or bigots an excuse for their ignorance, just be yourself and forget about them.

Unfortunately, you're probably going to get that for a while, as long as this issue's in the news. People are feeling justified in their bigotry.

Hell, a t-shirt like that probably wouldn't hurt, as a joke. :-)

Just remember that other people's stereotypes are their problem, and you don't have to make it yours, too.

Ignorance is bliss, if they were so smart they would realize they would not be here either if their ancestors did not migrate from another country. If they are not of American Indian Descent they are not from here either. Just let it roll of your back and say a prayer for them. Ignorance is bliss, if they knew better they would do better. good luck and God bless

People are just racist. Color shouldn't matter. Nearly all people in America are products of immigration. My family came from England, Germany, and Ireland.
