I mean picture this, you're eating and this damn advertisement comes up about tampons, its just disgusting. I know its a very sensitive issue, but I reckon that in this century girls and women should know how to use tampons.

To all those women out there who thinks its pretty lame that tampons ad should be banned. Look women's hygiene are something else, its a very sensitive issue, I agree. Erectile dysfunction is something else, it doesnt invovlve bleeding at any stage though its annoying at times to hear it, but fact is its not shown on TV often, more likely to hear it on radio, I mean come on they wont show a penis on TV. Last time I saw this ad where that women says how to cure vaginal thrush, thats pretty nasty, u cant say that on TV, some people have weak stomachs. My whole point is that I don't agree that such ads should be done regulary, probably there should be a selected time.

Well, I suppose its about as disgusting as hearing crap on TV about extended erections being a serious medical condition while taking erectile dysfunction medicines. Like I REALLY want to be listening to some poor sap whining about not being able to get it up --- or once he does finally get it up that he can't get it down again! Give me a break.
At least tampons (or pads) are there to aid in a NATURAL process - unlike Viagra....

Not every girl knows how to use a tampon. The reason being; it's not the TV that teaches a girl how to use a Tmapon....its her mother or her friends or another trusted female in her life. All Tampon commercials are doing are informing about their product and they are not graphic or gross in their language or the way they present the product. If you don't like it then change the channel and god forbid you ever have a little girl because you are obviously not ready or mature enough to meet the challenges of interacting with the female population!

Oh little one, you may have bought an extended method to cross! Get your self a duplicate of The Female Eunuch and no less than drag your self from the fifties into the seventies! Who is aware of, might be you'll be able to get to the twenty-first century from there. To reply your final factor, there are new little ladies being born always, after which they develop up, and so there are individuals commencing to menstruate for the primary time, always. It's a circle of lifestyles factor. (In case you are brooding about, no, I disagree with you approximately banning tampon commercials. But in case you are additionally brooding about, it is not blue.)

Tampon adds arent that graphic.
They just show tampons sucking up blue water, what's the problem?
People shouldnt be eating dinner at the TV anyways. Cant folks just sit at a table for 10 minutes and eat a meal?

I'm not really offended by the tampon ads. Commercials are just...commercials and they're only trying to sell the product, and not make a statement. :)

They don't ban car adverts so why ban tampon adverts?

That and making them a hell of a lot cheaper. I mean, every (nearly) woman needs them or towels, and at £2 a time for a small pack, its stupid. 50p for 100 and everyones a winner. I mean they are only used once!
