.....we have 2 bedrooms for this reason. Sometimes his snoring gets so irritating, I have to go in the other room. Just wondering.

My husband doesn't snore very often..really!

He has other delightful sleep habits though, like tooting and shoving his elbow into my back.

Yes he does, if I am so tired the snoring does not bother me, but alot of times I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and he is snoring so loud I can't go back to sleep, so I usually have to cover my head with a pillow.

Make sure his head is on top of the pillow... Also, this may sound weird but smoking, drinking alcohol before sleeping, sleeping pill and sedatives kind of enhances snoring... Your husband should do the following, please talk to him to do so: Clear nasal passages. Keep bedroom air moist with a humidifier or stay well hydrated himself. Reposition or change pillow. Avoid caffeine and heavy meals within two hours of going to bed, especially dairy products and soymilk. Also, avoid alcohol. Sleep on his side. If he is obese, then he should probably lose some weight. Or he could simply buy any of the devices like anti-snoring ring. I dont know if they work though! :D

oh yeh... my husband snores so loud he wakes me from a dead sleep almost every night. i elbow him in the ribs, he kinda wakes up and apoligizes, and a few seconds later... he's back at it again! it drives me crazy!!! unfortunatly i don't have another room that i can send him to.. or a couch that i'm willing to sleep on. i prefer the comfort of my own bed... that means i have to cover my ear with a pillow... it sucks.
