If you are preparing a talk, go for something close to your interest. I liked your earlier question on Travelling back in Time. Using insights from there or the possibilities of Science-fiction, that has inspired much of today's Science-fact, could be a stimulating presentation
(BTW, if you make a Power Point talk or just a speech on Time Travel, I would like to get a copy ... pleezzee)
If you want to go for how big space is, I showed a Fractal math program for my daughter's class to get an idea how far "Beyond what you can see" there really is. I started with a Google Earth picture of their school, then said how Satelites were looking beyond the stars. The Fractal program gave coloured expressions in geometric shapes that fasinated the young group.
The Radio Telescope Dish in Parkes, Australia, that transmitted the TV signal of Armstrong's walking on the moon, has a different concept too. Instead of visual images (only operational at night) it searches with radio and now microwave detectors 23 hours a day. It has been responsible for a large portion of discoveries or identifying celestial bodies to date

The topic of the lecture would depend on the group I'd be addressing. For instance if I were asked to give a talk at a crossbow hunting club, I wouldn't lecture on how to adjust a foresail for upwind sailing.
The subject must be something that would be of interest to the group being lectured.

Pretty broad question, don't you think? Most anyone asking for a lecturer will have a general topic of interest to be covered.
I've lectured on model and high-powered rocketry, free-flight rocket stability, various beer styles, brewing techniques, luminarias, and other topics. Each lecture was tailored to the audience, and I was asked to discuss a certain topic when I was asked to give the lecture.
However, another lecture I'm working on as a continuing medical education lecture concerns indications for, creation of and radiography of bladder replacement pouches and neo-bladders. Pretty technical stuff, huh?

Ask him bearing directly to the torture that royalty commits, incredibly in that dubai torture video. Ask him additionally, how come that no another than an Arab, is able to get citizenship whether their born there? Ask him what he has performed for his human beings? If there replace into tax might they help their human beings, in the event that they have been provided that tax funds of their wallet. Or if human beings paid zakat yet they accrued the money for their ferraris, lamborghinis, and flying palaces. How are a number of them waiting to get extra suitable than 10 better halves? Why are they no longer letting women human beings force? Why are they being discriminatory, the government/law enforcement officers while it is composed of non arabs that stay there. incredibly, in the event that they opt to start companies, they could group up with people who're allowed to purchase assets, in basic terms to be cheated in the top after which blackmailed later. have confidence me, I honestly have seen all of it, how can they call themselves rulers, while they're basically prompted with the aid of funds.

How big space is and how far away everything is. Everybody thinks it is way smaller and things are way closer than they really are. The reason we are limited to this solar system and aren't going to the stars anytime soon is absurdly obvious to anyone who has any appreciation at all for the magnitude of the distances involved.

I'd talk about bioethics and the misunderstanding of what it means in society and I'd cite stem cell research, the terri schiavo case and the fight around what is viability, the viability of cloning.
