That is an idiotic idea. Ousting may be the easy part - finding a correct candidate will be the hard part. How will you find someone that is representative of everyone in the country? YOu would have to do a national vote again and quite frankly, that is more a political process (to maintian accuracy) than just storming out of jobs and schools.

I dont disagree with getting Bush out but the method of doing so has to be correct to prevent another 'Bush-like' president.

Is THIS the millions you're speaking of? These quotes come directly fronm the website you offered, from protests in Flagstaff, AZ:

2006-10-05 [edit]
noon?
Heritage square
bring signs, flyers, loud speakers, whatever, just come. hopefully some people will show up that are willing to talk about the crimes & injustices that the current administration has commited. we could also march around down town and city hall

Hmmm.... Different day for this one, and they HOPE they'll have someone williing to speak........

or:

2006-10-05 [edit]
3pm
city hall lawn
i dont know what im doing but i know i need to do something, and if i can get just one person to show up with me ill be happy

Right day, but this one hopes at least ONE other person will join his one-man band. However, he says he doesn't even know the tune.

From Phoenix comes:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all HUMANS are equal in their right to exsist, and that WE ALL by exsisting in Life itself, are ALIVE with undeniable and INHERIT BIRTH RIGHTS. Among these are Freedom in Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. In order to secure AND ensure these rights, Governments CAN BE instituted among the PEOPLE, understanding that ALL government derives its AUTHORITY from the CONSENT of the PEOPLE. Whenever ANY Form of Government, becomes destructive to the freedom of and in life, it is the RIGHT AND MORAL DUTY of ALL the PEOPLE to alter AND OR to abolish it. And if desired, to institute a NEW form of Government, laying its basic principles and organizing ALL governments authority and powers in a form, as to ALL PEOPLE, seems most likely to ensure and protect the Safety and Happiness of the goverened.

ALL government derives it's authority from the consent of the governed? Tell that to the Iraqis killed by Sadam or the afganis tortured by the Taliban or the N Koreans under the Kims. They didn't have much consent in those governments. The current administration in the USA was at least elected BY the governed.

When you want to make a change, you need to have the facts behind you and know of what you speak. Then persuade the VOTERS to make the change! Your "millions" simply seem to be a pathetic minority.

Have you REALLY looked at the supporters of this group? Again, from the website comes:

Carl Dix, Revolutionary Communist Party
Ward Churchill
Samina Faheem Fundas, American Muslim Voice*
Hermandad Mexicana [Mexican Brotherhood]- EDIT
Rev. Jesse L. Jackson
Brig. Gen. (ret) Janis Karpinski
Jane Fonda
Sunsara Taylor, Revolution newspaper
Rafael Sencion, Sec. Gen., Congreso Nacional Dominicano
Cindy Sheehan, Gold Star Families for Peace
Rev. Al Sharpton
Puerto Rican Nationalist Party – New York

That's quite an interesting alliance there. Comunists, professional agitators and general wackos of the far fringe right.

Nope, I'm not going.

I'm not particularly fond of George Bush either but I don't believe that having any other person in the White House would make any bit of difference, Democrat or Republican, doesn't matter. I believe that there is a group of radicals killing in the name of converting the rest of the world to their religion. If you think that is all George bush's fault, look no further than the USS Cole bombings and the first World Trade Center bombings. Both happened under the watch of Bill Clinton. So if you think that a Democrat will do better to bring about "world peace", think again. These people want to kill us because they believe us to be infidels, not because George Bush is in office. Quite frankly, I would rather have someone in office like him, someone with the kahunas to chase down these radical terrorists than an appeaser like John Kerry. Look where that kind of policy got Israel. They completely pulled out of the Gaza Strip and gave a bunch of land and acknowledged Palestine as a legitimate government, just as they were asking, and they still get bombed by the terrorists.

Again, I am no fan of George Bush but i feel safer with him in office than I would with John Kerry, so no, I will not be joining you in your protest. I also agree with an earlier answerer, I don't think that this method is a very effective one.

How anyone can create the misconception that the world will be at peace, once Bush is out of office, remains the mystery of the day...How one can be so mislead, full well knowing this war has been going on world wide for more than 20 years now.. There is either total ignorance or plain stupidity at play here.. Discarding all facts and urging unthinking people to cause an action which is ill founded, unappreciated and unfruitful. Of benefit only to those who wish to create more Bush hatred, by continuing to attempt to mislead the public.

The compromise grew to change into decrease than what they have been conserving out for. A token appeasement at the same time as maximum collective bargaining grew to change into although being taken away wasn't good sufficient. Republicans will pay in 2012 for specializing in taking rights far flung from operating persons really than on pastime boost. Their suited-down recommendations-set did not artwork very last decade, and it gained't artwork now.

No, because I do not support the lie this site is telling...

That Bush is trying to enstate a theocracy.

Now, look, I don't like Bush for what he's done since 9/11. I don't like the fact that he possibly had a hand in 9/11. I don't like the lies about Iraq, and the misdeeds done in places like Gitmo, and Abu Ghraib. I don't like the fact that he possibly had a hand in rigging votes.

But, the thing about Bush trying to install a theocracy, is incorrect.

We Christians prayed for, and voted Bush into office, because we are tired of seeing a million American children die each year, when there are prospective parents who'd love to adopt them. We are tired of seeing the irresponsibility of potential parents, and the fact that an innocent child must die to pay for their crime against God. We are tired of seeing people believe that a child is mere chattel, something worthy of being destroyed upon a whim. We are tired of seeing that slaves in the 1800's were being treated better than the children of this supposed 'enlightened' era. There is nothing wrong with birth control. But to kill a child is to deny his or her basic and Constitutionally guaranteed right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I am personally insulted that this site calls fundamentalist Christianity "hateful". I, like most other fundamentalists, do not hate anyone. But for 160 years, our country was blessed by God because we Americans followed His moral instructions. We were seen by other nations as powerful, moral, right, and idealized. But for the past 50 some-odd years, our country has been in moral decline, and we are paying the price for it, both from human action, and natural disasters, and especially so in the last two decades. We have become an emnity amongst mankind, we are hated, we are loathed, we are seen as arrogant hypocrites, we are a pockmark upon the earth. We seek a desire to return to that blessed status... yet because the voice of only a quarter of the nation is louder than the rest, we shall further slide into depravity. ...as once said, "If we continue down this path, and God does not wipe America off the map, then He would owe Sodom and Gommorah an apology".

Yes, some science is suppressed. Why? Because it is illegal, in America, to kill someone to harvest their body parts. In this case, we strive to prevent the killing of an unborn child to harvest their stem cells. What need is there, when adults produce stem cells, as do umbilical cords and placentas. Why kill a human being, when a non-living by-product of their birth produces the very same thing?

I do not wish a theocracy. If I did, I would move to the Vatican or to a Muslim nation. What I *do* want is a democracy. One where the voice of the majority is heard over the voice of the minority... not the other way around. Since Christians comprise the majority... then let our voice be heard, not silenced.

Yes, I support intolerance. I am intolerant of murder. I am intolerant against actions that are contrary to natural order. I am intolerant of lies and deception. I am intolerant of greed. I am intolerant of self-serving holier-than-thou attitudes. I am intolerant of denying God-given rights to people.

And if you do not tolerate my ideals... then you are intolerant too, and have no right to call me intolerant.

Sorry, I can't agree with you. You might think it's a good idea to throw out all of our government officials. It's great running down everything the government and the army is doing. That's exactly what the Muslim creeps would like all of to do. You might think it's great serving the interest of the terrorists - - - not me.
Will you be marching with your arm around Cindy Sheehan ?I believe you two would make a dandy pair. As for me, I'm against terrorists blowing up innocent people.

No I will not walk off my job and no I will not protest against a President I had the good sense to vote for, and you will not get millions and you will not oust Bush in this manner.

You have got to be kidding? I guarantee millions of Americans will not walk off their jobs today. If they do, I may be able to find one. Bush is not the best president we have had but a country without a leader is just plain vulnerable.
