I think Miss Piggy and Kermit would be good candidates to host countdown. Both are an entertaining duo, one pink and one green.

Carol Voderman should be removed from Countdown as she heavily advertises consolidation loans for First Plus. Consumers trust Carol and her apparent endorsement of First Plus consolidation loans could influence them to make a decision that might not be best for them. The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) and the money education charity Credit Action said Vorderman's profile could cause people to think debt consolidation was suitable for them when it was not.

Definitely not Noel Edmonds - I know he's been rumoured to be in the running! It should be someone like Des who's been around for a bit but still has some charm! I'd quite like someone like Parky or Michael Aspel.

Ant & Dec - to give it a bit of life
Dale Winton - to camp it up and make him look intelligent
Bruce Forsyth - lets get catchphrases into countdown
Johnny Depp - I know I would watch it then!!!
Ian Wright - to show I'm not racist
Sue Barker - to show I'm not sexist
Micheal parkinson - to show I'm not ageist
Russell G(B)rant - now that would be interesting

Nobody. The show is past it's sell-by date. Get rid of it and put movies on in it's place.
