Hi there - I believe it is commmon to have cramps when implantation occurs - dont be too concerned unless it is more than mild cramping. No, you dont have to spot when implantation occurs hun, everyone is different and some woman dont even know when it actually happens. xxx

I am having the exact same problem, and asked the same question lol, i am due for my period next Friday and feel like i was going to start all week but still haven't, i have had a very small amount of spotting and had cramps the day after i had unprotected sex perhaps just a coincident, the majority of my answers of my were it was my period on the way but i know for a fact "women know there body's" i don't have signs of my period a week before i am due, i only ever have them whilst i am on, implantation bleeding does not happen to all women, and very early signs of Pregnancy are very similar to pre period so it is very difficult to tell the difference all i can say is just wait till your period is due and if it is a day late take a test get some so you are ready just in case, if you want to be pregnant GOOD LUCK! and take care

Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Most women don't even notice any signs of implantation. There are a select few that spot or cramp.

I dont know I am a bloke , but answering this question gets me to over 600 points, hope you find out though sounds painful. I am a single dad with two teenage girls so I know all about the period stuff, never heard of implantation though, sounds a bit rude, is it an internal pill or something

Anyway good luck and hope you feel better

That is normal, but if the cramps are stronger than normal pre-period cramping, call your doctor. Some people have spotting but not everyone.

I don't know if the statistics technically make it "common", but it does happen. Sometimes women can have one and not the other, sometimes both, sometimes neither. I didn't have any bleeding, and it's hard to say if I had any cramping, I wasn't really expecting to get pregnant at the time so I wasn't paying attention.

Yes that is normal light bleeding usually at the time you are expected to have your period, and yes cramps can go along with it. I had it and I was crampy.

some cramping is normal, if it is a painful cramping, then see your doctor. I bled throughout all three of my pregnancies.
