Whenever I hear someone (usually a Sheepublican) saying that, I get the feeling that they think this country is more theirs than mine.

And the Concept of "love" apllied to a government? WTF? I mean, I love this country, from coast to coast. I'm grateful for the US Constitution. I served my country. But I would NEVER EVER "love" my government. At best, I will tolerate it.

Can someone offer their opinion?

"My country, right or wrong" is exactly the kind of tyranny our friend Mr. Jefferson warned us to be vigilent about about. No one was more skeptical of the government they created than the Founding Fathers themselves. Surely they are rolling over in their graves every time that phrase is uttered...

When I hear "love it or leave it" the politicians/government never come to mind...what I see is the mexicans taking down our flag, replacing it with their rag then putting our flag back only upside down! Disgraceful!!

When I see one of the elected class all I can see is republicans for the rich, democrats promoting welfare, both supporting the illegals and I wonder who is looking out for middle-class Americans? Then, sadly, I realize....no one!

A government is a government. A government is not a country.
If there's a problem in your house, a good solution is to fix it.

Love it the way it was, love the way it is going or love the state of affairs we are in? Yes sickening. All it means is no room for disagreement.

Of course the racist bigot bastards are going to tell you love it or leave it, to them it is the same as "its my way or the highway"

I love the whole "sheepublican" thing, brilliant
