I an trying to install a pcmcia cd-rw drive on to a compaq amarda notebook running windows 98
i got the driver directly from teac america who make the drive,but when i run set up i receive the message [ "pcmcia cable" driver not found set up aborted connect the "pcmcia cable" driver(by plug and play) important:choose the "pcmcia cable" driver and not the windows standard driver]
can anyone tell me what this message means as i am totally lost and were do i get a pcmcia cable driver from as i thought i only needed the driver i was given by teac
can anyone help

Unplug the cd-rw from the pc switch off the pc and install the
cd-rw switch on your pc and windows should find your new hardware and ask for the driver for it put the driver in and install it
